German carbonless and fine paper producer Koehler Paper has been carrying out maintenance and machine improvement works on its three paper machines, its power plant, and its infrastructure.

The machines are being started up again in stages between August 11 and 18, said Koehler without giving any details about when the machines were stopped.

PM 5 at the Oberkirch plant is chiefly used to make carbonless and fine paper. PM 4 specialises in the production of fine paper. PM 3 is mainly used to produce edge banding board.
