R K Label Printing Machinery, headquartered in Ahmedabad, sold multiple rotary label printing machines and ancillary equipment at Labelexpo India 2016, including an intermittent rotary die-cutting machine, label die-cutting machine, label slitting and rewinding machine, and a stamping and die-cutting machine.

This included RK FM-NICE-P 320 6-color rotary label printing machines and an RK 320 intermittent rotary die-cutting machine.

On the last day of Labelexpo India, G Naresh, manager at R K Label Printing Machinery, said: ‘We have sold everything we displayed at the show floor. We are very happy with the response received and are going back with a lot of orders for different machines. We will come back to the show in 2018 and have already rebooked a bigger stand for the next edition.’

The two RK FM-NICE-P 320 presses with one UV dryer unit and one rotary die-cutting unit will be installed at Aarpee India in Delhi and Impress Labels in Mumbai. An all servo and UV press, it runs at a maximum speed of 100m/min and has a maximum print width of 310mm. Other features on the press includes turnbar, movable cold foil and lamination unit, movable delam and relam as well as a sheeter stacker. Impress Labels also finalized an order of an RK 320 intermittent rotary die-cutting machine.

Another flexo press, a RK F-320 5-color rotary label printing press with IR and UV individual window system, was bought by Sree Ram Label Industries based in Delhi. With two rotary die-cutting units, this press runs at a speed of 50m/min.

Unison Enterprise in Delhi bought one RK 220 single color rotary flexo printing machine with single die-cutting unit, and a label cutting machine.

Sidhi Vinayak Label from Mumbai inked a deal for a RK HSD-3030/S stamping and die-cutting machine. With the stamping and die-cutting unit area size of 300 x 300mm each, the machine runs at a speed of between 5,000 and 7,000 strokes an hour depending on web length.

Rajkamal Barscan System from Mumbai signed a contract for an RK PTR-320 roll-to-roll rotary die-cutting and slitting machine with turret rewinding.

An RK HS-320 label slitting and rewinding machine with an electronic web guide unit and air blower for waste trimming will be shipped to Saraswati Printers in Delhi.

R K Label Printing Machinery also received multiple orders for machines that were not displayed at the show floor such as its 4-color printing, lamination and stamping machine, and ultrasonic taffeta and shartin cutting and folding machine for garment tape label cutting and folding.
